Growing up in Dravograd was fairly peaceful. Save for the attacks from the Nilfgaard, alas that wouldn't occur until late into her childhood. She grew up in a fairly sheltered life. Learning politics, the blade, languages, history, mathematics and writing. Her stresses mostly consisted of not wanting to simply become a bride. For she found joy the moment she picked up her first sword.
First Memory:
She remembered opening her eyes and watching a beautiful woman paint quietly merely feat away. Angelica distinctly remembers the bright, vibrant colors her mother used as she painted the scene which lay outside the window. That very painting is still upon the entry hall of the Vaster manor.
Important Memory:
Her father taking her into the garden and giving her a sword. His words still ringing in her ears.
Why?: "He told me that I am the only one who can protect myself and the ones I love."

Angelica has little fear of running out of currency. Not only because of her upbringing or her earned titles. But also because she often picks up jobs to clear out bandits and slavers. Or to fight of monster infestations if no Witcher has come around for some time.
Education:
The daughter of Vaster is a rather intelligent and well educated woman. While she understands she has much to learn, she knows far more than most common rabble.

Angelica was born into the Vaster Noble family of Dravograd, Lyria. Her upbringing was tame considering the town she was raised in. She spent most of her early childhood learning to paint, play various weapons and converse with other nobles. While also learning languages, mathematics, reading and writing. It wasn't until her early adolescence when she would begin her training with the blade.
She knew and loved both of her parents very dearly. Even her other brother who would constantly tease her relentlessly. Angelica knew little of strife for the many years she spent with her family.
It wasn't until the first wave of attacks from the Nilfgaard. Only then did she understand pain. Watching from her bedroom window as a sea of black assaulted the gates and walls which surrounded the large city of Dravograd. By this time, she feared her older brother dead. For he had travelled away from their home estate due to some claims from a Sorceress. One who promised to curse him if he did not return her advances. Around this time would have also been when her father handed her the first blade.

Adolescence

Upon receiving a blade, Angelica felt a new life breathe into her. No longer was she the scared little girl who hid behind her mother. Mewling as the soldiers screamed orders down below. During the day, her father would be off brandishing his own sword. Fighting back the Nilfgaard. At night however, he would sneak Angelica into the courtyard and quietly train her. Teaching her as much as he can, even if he was injured from the day's battles.
For several months it went like this. Until the Great Warrior Queen stepped in and rescued Dravograd from the Nilfgaardians. Chasing them away into the hills. In a way, Meve was a roll model for Angelica. A hero and inspiration. She watched as the woman knight and her armies fought back against the seemingly endless of black.
From then on, Angelica put all of her heart and soul into training. Into learning the arts of combat.

In many ways, it paid off. After relentless attacks against Dravograd and Lyria, Angelica rose to her station. Fighting alongside her father and striking down many foes. It wasn't long before the woman was knighted for her deeds upon the battle field. Assisting in further chasing away the Nilfgaardian armies away from Lyria and her cities. Her acts of valor for her comrades, her dedication and resilience when opposed by greater forces.
Angelica would spend several years after the Nilfgaardian attacks traveling Lyria. Going where she was needed and helping clean up the mess which the war left behind.
It wouldn't be until she was 25, nearing 26 when she took her steed and left home completely. Seeking an adventure and a higher purpose. Along the way she earned other names. Fighting off Nilfgaardian attacks where she could. While she wasn't quite a hero, she was indeed a Knight of Honor.
Simply, she is a woman trying to find her true purpose in the world. For settling was not what she desired. The rush of battle, the exhilaration of staring your enemy down before you. That- that is what she desired.
